Well things have been moving really slowly lately. With the holidays coming up I’m trying to get a lot of work done, and I really don’t have much energy to draw when I come home. So rather than let the blog die a slow painful death I’m going to be showing the next couple of days some work that I did for the forums and I never got to show it here. Enjoy.

I have been away from drawing in the last couple of weeks because I’ve been desperately trying to update my whole site. Since I have to learn PHP from the ground up It’s been taking me more time than usual.
When I first did this site I had just learned about wordpress and so the blog really became an afterthought. Now I’m trying to make a more cohesive site that seamlessly blends from static to dynamic content, with out resorting to hacks. If you don’t understand what I’m saying don’t worry I didn’t either a couple of weeks ago, quite frankly I don’t think I still do.

I always thought that when I learned CSS I would no longer have to spend a lot of time updating my site because I could just update the stylesheet or the source and bam! I would have a new site…sadly this isn’t so. Even now I’m left pondering if by the time my site is updated if there’ll be a new way in doing sites that I’m going to have to implement. Since I’m ranting…Trying to get wordpress to run both a blog and a static site while both being able to reference each other is painful. I’ve gone to the forums trying to find answers and everyone keeps pointing me to the same links I analyzed before giving up and posting on the forums.

I will post new work once I have this all figured out. I have new 3d work(Texture) that I’m dying to show now that Call of duty 4 came out. Also have some more Steampunk Star Wars(I just need to color them) and some more Blade Runner replicants.

One more, this time Rutger Hauer’s Roy Batty character. Took me about 45 minutes to paint in photoshop.

Over at CGSociety they have a daily sketch section on Blade Runner. Always wanted to do something based on the movie, so I started with an action scene but stopped on that cause I sorta hit a brick wall with it. Instead I tried my hand at Sean Young’s character Rachael.
